Frozen Maine Lobster is a good alternative to live when planning way ahead. After thawing, you'll find it to be sweet, succulent and thoroughly delicious. Freshly-frozen, this selection averages 5-6 oz each.
Thaw these Lobster Tails in your refrigerator overnight. Use sharp kitchen shears to cut the top side of the shell lengthwise, lift the meat out and lay it “piggyback” on top of its shell. Then broil or bake until the meat is opaque and firm. Serve with drawn butter for a centerpiece entrée!
The lofty Lobster is a good source of Vitamin B12, Pantothenic Acid and Phosphorus, and a very good source of protein, Zinc, Copper and Selenium.
