King mackerel are the largest of the mackerel family, and are truly impressive, with their slender shape and beautiful, colorful skin. King mackerel are a bit firmer and meatier than Boston or Spanish mackerel. While king mackerel are found in the Caribbean and all the way down to Brazil, ours come from the USA. The assertive flavor of king mackerel holds up well to bold ingredients and creative preparations.  Each steak is approximately 1-inch thick.
