Poke is easy to make at home if you have the right ingredients. Our fresh kanpachi is rich and buttery, perfect for the sweet, salty and spicy flavors of our authentic Hawaiian poke recipe. - ¼ lb fresh kanpachi, cubed
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 cup ogo (fresh seaweed), finely minced, optional
- 2 tablespoons toasted ground sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon chili oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger juice
- Pinch of salt
- Mix soy sauce, ogo if using, sesame seeds, chili oil and ginger juice in a bowl. Add fish and let marinate for 2 minutes. Sprinkle in salt and serve.
