Crab Salad with Chives Recipe
Change up your daily work lunch with our easy Crab salad recipe. This delicious creamy salad is filled with our fresh Jumbo Lump Crabmeat, healthy avocado, and is anything but boring. Wrapped in lettuce leaves, stuffed in a tomato, layered on a croissant, or simply eaten with a fork; your new favorite lunch will be the envy of your co-workers!
1 ripe avocado
1 pound jumbo lump crabmeat, picked over for shell and cartilage
¼ cup plain yogurt
¼ cup mayonnaise
½ lemon, juiced
½ cup fresh chives, roughly chopped
freshly ground black pepper
Halve, pit, peel, and dice the avocado.
Combine the avocado, crabmeat, yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and chives in a mixing bowl; thoroughly stir to combine. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve straight away or cover and chill until ready to serve.
