PEI Mussels - Gift

Our PEI, or Prince Edward Island, mussels are plump and tender with the sweet, briny flavor of the ocean. Easily the most popular mussel in North America, it has an ink black shell, and the flesh ranges from ivory (males) to pale coral (females). These deliciously sweet mussels are great for a cookout or dinner party.

• Our PEI mussels are cultivated in the cold clean waters off the coast of Prince Edward Island in Canada.
• Our delicious PEI mussels are delivered live, you can’t get any fresher than that.
• Before cooking, check that all the mussels are closed, and scrub well with a stiff brush under cold running water to remove any barnacles. After cooking, discard any shells that have not opened up.

How do gift subscriptions work?

1. Fill out the recipient information fields. Double check the recipient's email address. This cannot be changed once the order is placed.
2. Select the date you want the email to be sent to the recipient and click "Add to Cart" button. This is the date the recipient will be notified about the gift, they will get to choose the delivery date and enter their shipping address at this time.
3. Check out and that's all you have to do! We'll take it from there. Not sure if this is the perfect gift? No problem, the recipient can select a different item of equal or lesser value when they schedule their shipment.
