Give your wild Alaska salmon a spooky twist this Halloween—wrap it in puff pastry like a mummy! Serve with our creamy remoulade sauce for dipping, and you’ve got a festive meal that’s tasty and fun for the whole family.
4 pieces wild Alaska salmon (defrosted)
1 roll of puff pastry or tart dough
½ cup herb cream cheese
Sugar eyes (edible)
Ketchup
Preheat the oven to 400°F top and bottom heat.
Cut the wild Alaska salmon into long, even strips.
Roll out the puff pastry and spread with herb cream cheese.
Wrap the salmon strips in the coated puff pastry so that they look like mummies.
Place the wrapped salmon strips on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven for approx. 30 minutes until the puff pastry is golden brown.
After baking, leave the salmon mummies to cool slightly and then place the sugar eyes on the salmon strips to complete the mummy face.
Serve with ketchup on the side.
