Cherrystone clams are hardshell clams with a sweet, briny, ocean flavor. Similar to their East Coast cousins, the topneck and littleneck, but their larger size tends to make them a little chewier. Cherrystones are excellent for clams casino, and good for chowder or pasta sauces.
