You’ll recognize Sockeye Salmon by its silver body with a bluish back. Its flesh is a brilliant, deep red and is extremely lean and firm. You’ll find its flavor one of the most pronounced of all Salmon varieties.
Because the flesh of Sockeye Salmon is so firm, it lends itself beautifully to grilling. We recommend marinating it briefly with bold flavored herbs and seasonings beforehand. You can also broil or bake it with bold seasonings.
Alaskan Salmon provides an excellent source of protein, Omega-3, Selenium, Phosphorus, and Vitamins D, B-3, -B6, and B-12.
